​About Tom:

​With an insurance career that began in 2011, Tom has focused exclusively on the Financial Lines market, working with firms that provide professional and technology services to their clients to arrange their financial risk insurance programmes. His experience spans large, complex placements for firms managing billions in assets, through to smaller, boutique advisory businesses. Starting his career at Baronsmead Partners, Tom progressed to become Head of Asset Management in 2017, following Baronsmead’s integration into AssuredPartners London. In 2021, he became Divisional Director at Protean Risk, a trading name of the Howden Group, before establishing the UK Retail Team at BMS Group in 2024.

​Within BMS, Tom works closely with clients to deliver tailored and easy-to-understand insurance programmes. As well as being accessible and dependable throughout the renewal process, he and his team provide year-round advisory support on regulatory matters, claims, and broader insurance-related issues.

​Tom specialises in arranging broad, market-leading coverage for Professional Indemnity (including Tech Liability), Crime, and Directors’ & Officers’ insurance policies. He is committed to ensuring that every client has access to experienced, specialist advice and guidance.

​Alongside this offering, Tom collaborates with several specialist teams within BMS, enabling clients to access Cyber Liability and General Liability cover as part of a comprehensive, one-stop solution for their insurance requirements.
