About This Event:

Many recent innovations and emerging technologies allow for the transformation of the lives of all people, but they need to reach the particular needs of disabled and neurodivergent people. This requires inclusive and universal product design, bespoke products targeting these needs with full lived experience involvement.

Tech For Disability advocates for delivering innovation to all needs and including disabled and neurodivergent people in all aspects of its development. We are launching an online resource hub aimed at the tech industry, funders and lived experience to share information, promote discussion on what people need and inform how it can be built and brought to market.

It covers topics like personal perspectives, practical areas on inclusive design, market research, funders and networks of support, emerging tech and a showcase of example startups, amongst others. It is open to regular contributions and content updates with membership communications. Complementing this would be an online community to continue the conversations and exchange and, of course, our events.

Join us for the launch of this online resource hub at our first in-person event at Level39, high up at Canary Wharf, which hosts innovative startups across many sectors, on 7th November at 5pm.

For those who cannot attend in person, please book via our Online Event Booking Page to share your presence online. We will record the content generated in different ways and publish it as well.

We’ll feature speakers bringing to life different areas of the resource hub, followed by networking opportunities.
