About Kanupriya:

With over 9 years of rich and diverse experience across financial services & banking, and entrepreneurship, Kanupriya offers a unique blend of strategic insight and practical expertise to the startups she mentors. Currently, she is part of the Strategic Investments team at Citi London, where she focusses on identifying investment opportunities in early-stage companies that align with Citi’s long-term objectives.

Kanupriya’s journey in financial services spans roles in investment banking, private equity advisory, trading, and startup investing. At Citi, she previously served as a Trader for Markets Treasury, managing Citi’s balance sheet. She also has a strong background in investment analysis, having closed multi-million dollar deals and supported strategic mergers and acquisitions during her tenure at TresVista Financial Services.

In addition to her corporate experience, Kanupriya co-founded a healthtech startup, where she served as CFO and Chief Strategist. Here, she was responsible for driving business strategy, financial management, and product development while leading a team of 11 professionals. Kanupriya entrepreneurial journey provided her with first hand experience in building a business from the ground up, raising capital, and navigating the challenges of the start-up world.

Kanupriya academic credentials include;

• An MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow
• A BBA from NMIMS, Mumbai, where she graduated as the top-ranked student
